Dr. Divya Jose

Dr Divya Jose is a native of Ernakulam. She did her MBBS from Calicut Medical College. The postgraduation (MS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology was done at the prestigious St. Johns National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru. She started her career as an Assistant Professor in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at MOSC Medical College, Kolenchery. She added DNB degree while working there. She pursued a short training in gynecologic oncology in Lakeshore Hospital. She joined as Consultant in Obsterics and Gynecology in CIMAR hospital and worked there for 7 years which added to her experience in infertility and fetal medicine. She also cleared the examination and gained the MRCOG degree from Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, London. Her Laparoscopic career were polished by a Fellowship and Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from the college of AMASI ( FMAS AND DIPMAS). To expand her scope of work she joined Lourdes Hospital and is presently working as a Senior Consultant there.

Achievements

Dr Divya Jose has over 13y experience in obstetrics and gynecology and has conducted many deliveries including VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section) and complicated deliveries.

She is a regular speaker at regional and international conferences.

She is an active member of the cancer prevention activities and camps conducted by the hospital and other non-charitable organisations.

She also has done talk shows and interviews in various media on relevant topics in gynaecology.

She has contributed to a chapter in a book on Algorithms in management of high risk pregnancy published in 2022.

She is a great academician and had more than 10 years of teaching experience for postgraduate students.

Gynecology services

We take care of all pregnant patients including high risk pregnancies like twins, hypertension in pregnancy, diabetes complicating pregnancies with multidisciplinary team support from dietician, endocrinologist, physician, and fetal medicine specialist

Fetal medicine Services

We have competent fetal medicine doctors to do our obstetric ultrasounds like Nuchal translucency scan (NT scan), anomaly scan, fetal echocardiography. We have facilities for 3D/ 4D ultrasound when required or when requested by the patient.

Fertility treatment

We offer evaluation of fertility problems for both partners when you have difficulty in conceiving. We have fertility treatments like ovulation induction with follicular study by ultrasound

We do USG Abdomen and Pelvis, USG breast, USG thyroid, USG KUB, Doppler – arterial and venous doppler, all Obstetric scans. We have both female and male radiologists available to do the scan

We have the services of a top cardiologist in Kochi. She is available for consultation on Mondays and other days with prior appointment. ECG and Echocardiogram is available in the clinic for diagnostic purposes
